The Privacy policy applies to all information provided by yourself to StoryDots or collected by StoryDots during navigation, and describes our practices for collection, use, retention, disclosure and protection of your personal data. It applies to all navigation on the Website and WebApp runs.
StoryDots respect your concerns regarding the confidentiality of the information you provide us. Every User agrees that the uploaded video will be associated with a unique URL. Any person with access to that URL (directly or through the assigned QR) will have access to the video. The User understands and agrees to the level of privacy that these URLs offer.

If the information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, StoryDots will use agreements validated by the European Commission offering to personal data the same protection as offered in Europe (in this respect, in particular, for third parties located in the United States, they shall be part to the Privacy Shield or be subject to the standard clauses of the European Commission).
StoryDots may collect certain information concerning your navigation on the Website. Said data are collected in accordance with the terms and conditions of article 5 “Cookies” of this Privacy policy.

In order to respond to your request for access, modification or deletion, StoryDots reserves the right to request a proof of identity to ensure the legitimacy of the source of the request.
Through the Webapp, StoryDots collects and processes personal data required solely for the following purposes: making a personal video message available to the person you’re offering a gift to, or who offered you a gift.
When collecting data of a personal nature, the information required for the above purposes and which is needed to respond to your requests is indicated with an asterisk (mainly an email address). If you have not completed the compulsory fields, we will not be able to respond to your requests.
The data are kept for a period that does not exceed the length of the time required for the achievement of the goal pursued. We retain your personal data for the minimum duration provided by the law where it is specified. When our legitimate interest requires a different duration of retention of your data, we will consider the sensitivity of the data, the potential risk and security requirements to settle the duration of retention.
When the retention of your data is no longer necessary with regards to the purpose pursued, StoryDots will delete your data.

StoryDots is required to transfer your personal data to a third party in relation to requests you have made (payment provider, logistic providers, marketing and advertising service providers for the optimization of your purchasing experience);

In this context, StoryDots requires their service providers (Amazon Web Services) to grant the security of your personal data and comply with the regulation. Within the framework of an order made directly with a Retailer that sells its products directly on their ecommerce Website (order sold and sent by the Retailer), the personal data collected will be transferred to this Retailer in order to fulfill its obligations.
